Augustus is the son of Julius Caesar. Augustus' name means highly respected. He, unlike his father, showed great respect towards the senate and avoided acting like a king. Because of Augustus' manner, the senate gave Augustus as much power as he wanted.

Nero became emperor at age seventeen. He began to behave in the wrong manner. He killed his mother and many other people. Many people thought he was a reasonable and generous ruler. He later committed suicide in 68 A.D.

Caligula reigned over Rome for four years. After his reign he became very sick. He started acting weird, people don't know if he was truly mad or just pretending. He murdered many people in his life.
